If we were to tell you that Keane, one of the sappiest, soppiest bunch of effete whiners of recent years, were doing a rap collaboration, you might think we’d lest the C off. Indeed, we can’t think of a worse idea apart from Hilary Clinton blacking up for a party political broadcast. But yes, Keane have teamed up with rappers K’nann and Tigarah for an eight track EP. Singer Tom Chaplin said the songs “show [us] in a completely different light”, and he’s not kidding. On the other hand, if you were a rapper, would you really want to be linked to Keane? That’s like Snoop Dogg working with Alphabeat.
