After Kanye West’s stage invasion at the MTV VMAs last Sunday, a new Kanye mocking meme exploded across the internet, and at those speeds it got boring approximately 36 hours after it began. Unfortunately for US chatshow host and wannabe funny man Jimmy Kimmel, he and the Killers cooked up a ‘comedy’ stunt on the Wednesday, which made things look old hat. Kimmel ran onstage, grabbed the mic from Brandon Flowers, and shouted "I'm really happy for you and I'm going to let you finish…But I want to say Beyonce made one of the best videos of all time…and the Psychedelic Furs had one of the best songs of all time!" At which point the Furs, who had been the night’s support band, reappeared onstage and played one of their tunes with the Killers. Oh how we laughed...
