Lily Allen allegedly dropped for bad sales

Lily Allen allegedly dropped for bad sales
Does anyone remember when the Sun newspaper ran it from a website called Current Bun? Did that happen? Was that just us? Anyway, the Sun have reported on Lily Allen’s career, and it’s not going well: allegedly her management have axed her over poor sales of her last album and gigs.
Here’s the quotage: “IE: Music had thought they would be a match made in heaven with Lily but it has proved the opposite. Her album was a disappointment when it came to sales, peaking at just number eight in the charts.” Number 8? When did that become bad? I suppose it depends on the money you spent getting there.
“She also struggled to sell tickets for the American leg of her ‘No Shame’ tour last year — and pulled out of two dates, in Chicago and Minneapolis, due to an inflamed throat and vocal cords.”
Time to get indie?
