Besides being a masterpiece in its own right, if David Bowie's parting gift 'Blackstar' taught us anything, it's that the Thin White Duke still had plenty left in his tank.
And, as part of the Lazarus musical soundtrack release, three of the final pieces Bowie ever recorded in the studio will soon be available. Recorded at the same time as Blackstar, with the same band and with Visconti and Bowie as producers, they're fully-fledged Bowie.
One of them is entitled 'When I Met You', and was premiered on BBC Radio 6 Music this morning. You can hear it at the 51-minute mark here.
The other, 'No Plan', can now be heard via Jeremy Vine's BBC Radio 2 show. Listen at approximately 46 minutes here.
