Live videos and photos: Protestors occupy iconic Soho venue, the police on the way

As protestors from all walks of life occupy the iconic 12 Bar in London - a bar which is set to be seen to by a wrecking ball - the guillotine hangs high: the police are said to be on the way.

They had until 12pm to leave the premises, but that time has long passed. In their own words, they're nervously muttering about their "jail virginities being broken today". There's a bittersweet air to the protest; a noble cause, indeed but - with the loss of our musical heritage hanging like a guillotene - you can't help but feel like this flourishing fire may have come just a little too late.
