London Grammar have a striking new video
The visuals are brilliant, but London Grammar’s new video does get rather silly. Director Jodeb gets you interested at the start, and then follows up with a silly falling sequence when he’d have been better off with the striking rest of it. Still, it’s a stronger, more visceral vision than the song merits.
As he explained, “We wanted to create a character that you would never really know if she is a good or ill-intentioned person… I was looking to create a subtle sense of paranoia all throughout the film,” and they got that right.
The song’s called Non Believer, and it comes from London Grammar’s sophomore LP Truth is a Beautiful Thing, which sounds exactly like their debut record.
