Lou Bega gets condolences for Lou Reed by mistake

Lou Bega gets condolences for Lou Reed by mistake

Lou Bega, the chap who had a hit in the 90s with Mambo N. 5, has been receiving condolences after being confused with Lou Reed, the recently deceased chap who changed modern music. The two have no connection apart from names that don’t even seem similar when drunk.

However, Bega posted on his Facebook: "R.I.P Lou Reed the Genius who took Walks on the Wild side,…PS: I have been receiving tons of condolences because of a journalist confusing our identities. Lou Bega sends his condolences to Mr Reed's Family."

Oops.
