Manchester Arena will reopen with an indie heavy charity gig

Manchester Arena will reopen with an indie heavy charity gig
Reopening the Manchester Arena after the terrorist attack which killed 22 people there is a tough gig, but something special has been organised: a charity fundraising concert to create a permanent memorial to the lives lost.

It’s going to be called We Are Manchester, and has some indie heavyweights with Noel Gallagher headlining, plus Blossoms and Courteneers on the bill. Also there is Rick Astley so… oh it’s a charity gig, no one’s going to be mean about Rick.

The show is September 9th, and more acts are to be announced.
