Marcus Mumford is helping pick the Mercury Music Prize
There are twelve judges for this year’s Mercury Music Prize, and there’s some interesting names. Mistajam of Radio 1 fame, Phil Alexander editor of Mojo… and some musicians like Jamie Cullum, Lianne La Havas.
Perhaps most interesting is the idea that indie marmite Marcus Mumford is on the panel. But we’re certainly pleased to see musicians still involved alongside critics and broadcasters. We won’t get to hear the result until September 14th and we won’t know who’s in contention until July 27th.
