Martin Shkreli gets 7 years for fraud and has to give back his Wu Tang Album
Martin Shkreli has haunted the drugs and music industries for the last few years, ramping up the prices of important medications while acquiring (or pretending to acquire) a collection of rare, unique tracks. Most famously, he bought the Wu-Tang Clan’s one of a kind Once Upon A Time In Shaolin LP for two million dollars.

He’s done all this with a smug sense of invincibility, which came to a crashing end today when he was sentenced to seven years in prison for fraud. Some people have claimed this is karma.

Of musical note, he’s been told to surrender millions in assets to pay back the people he defrauded, and among those assets is the Wu-Tang Clan album. Assuming he still has it, or even if it’s real in the first place: opinions vary.
