Matrix sequel announces title and release date

Matrix sequel announces title and release date
So let’s get the big issue out of the way: during Warner Bros CinemaCon, footage of the new Matrix film was shown, but it’s not been released officially to the web yet so sorry, it’s not in this story!
What is in this story is the title, and many of you jokingly guessed: it’s called The Matrix: Resurrections, which sounds pretty phoned in to us, but hey, no one watches a Matrix movie for the titles.
Speaking of watching, it’s lined up to be a big Christmas release, opening December 22nd, all being well with the world…
What apparently is in the trailer is a younger, non-Laurence Fishburne Morpheus. I wonder why…
A soundbite from the event came from Keanu: “The first Matrix felt like something beyond yourself,” he said, “You’ll hear the sentence ‘The Matrix changed my life.’ I say, ‘Thank you, it changed mine too.’”
