Matt Groening and Pavement to Curate UK ATP

ATP - the trendy acronym of the All Tomorrow’s Parties music festival - gets famous people in to ‘curate’ the festivals, which means picking some of the key bands. There’ll be two weekends worth of ATP in Britain this year, all in May 2010, and the second will be overseen by recently reformed alt rock royalty Pavement. In a bigger departure, the first weekend will be curated by Simpsons and Futurama creator and cartoonist Matt Groening. He’s done this before, having curated a US ATP in 2003, getting in credible acts like !!! and the Shins. All sounds promising for festival goers next year.
