Meatloaf to retire: ''I outweight Jagger by 100 pounds''

Moatloaf has announced that he will retire from the stage after his current 'Last at Bat' tour.

Moatloaf has announced that he will retire from the stage after his current 'Last at Bat' tour.

He maintains that he doesn't have the fitness of some of the other musicians his age. We can't imagine why, I mean, he's only named after one of the more fattening dishes you could make.

He also said: "This is really it. I just don't want to travel anymore. I outweigh Jagger by about 100 pounds and that counts for something. He hasn't seen the wear and tear."

Meatloaf, aged 65, has had various health problems over the course of the last few years. He was forced to cancel a European tour in 2007 after a cyst developed on his vocal cords and collapsed on stage as recently as 2011.
