Morrissey speaks out on Smiths reunion

No more good news for you, Smiths fans: Morrissey has today claimed that a reunion just "doesn't make sense anymore".

Speaking with News.com.au, the former frontman opened up on the issue and what's left in the Smiths' vault.

"It's no longer a question of time or wounds, but simply that the issue is now so remote that the question doesn’t make sense any more," he responded.

"Only a cover of Elvis Presley's 'A Fool Such As I'," he said of the last bit of unheard Smiths material. "I don't even have a copy of it, but I expect it will spring out one day... when I'm on a life-support machine."

Sorry to dim your Friday, Smiths fans, if that's possible.
