When you’re in a band, sometimes you find yourselves with a lot of material, and if you’re recording you’ve got to work out how to release it. This doesn’t seem to be a problem these days, with monthly singles clubs, three album concept releases, but there’s always the slight doubt in the public’s mind that the quality control isn’t being kept up.
The latest to tackle this is David Bronson, who started writing one album, found he had enough material for more, and has now produced a twenty two song cycle called The Long Lost Story coming out as two albums. The first – called just Story – is out January 7th, and we have cut Times below. If we tell you it’s all about “a young man’s loss of hope and identity following the end of first love” then you might be expecting sappy, but it’s really not. The quality is there.
