New Music: Fat Goth

Black humour ahoy.

The dark, borderline offensive humour of many of the early punks has vanished among the pop looking crowd, but Fat Goth have it in spades. For a start they’re called Fat Goth but not actually Goths, they called their debut album Mindless Crap and released a single called Willy Wonka And The Charlie Factory. Now they’re gearing up to release second album ‘Stud’, and the free download of Debbie’s Dirty Harry we’ve got below references, among other things, auto-erotic asphyxiation (and the single’s got a cartoon drawing to get the point across.) Some of you will have stopped reading, but anyone left will find a mixture of punk and modern rock that’s perfectly raw, angry and tongue in cheek. Stud is out in January.
