New Music: Future Monarchs

It seems like every band who introduces themselves to Supajam claim originality when very few of them have it… and that’s okay, because there’s nothing wrong with doing something old very well. People chew through music, a good song is a good song.

This is the case with Future Monarchs, as they’ve produced an indie sound that’s familiar to anyone who’s listened to UK indie pop from the last decades, with a hint of the pop version of Black Keys. And it’s good, rewarding the eleven year partnership of the songwriters. Weird Weather is their debut EP.
