New Music: Tenth Electric

Tenth Electric describe themselves as ‘electro chart rock’ and it’s spot on, because debut single ‘Grenade’ mixes a poppy chart targeting sound with synths and guitars. The chorus is perfectly sing a long, and although there’s a deliberate tension in the lyrics, the effect is a lot of dark fun rather than something morbid. It’s also a better use of grenade imagery than Bruno Mars. The single is out now.
