When a press release begins by telling you a band are liked by Bonehead from Oasis, they might as well have put up a huge white flag saying ‘we’re shit’. But, amazingly, The Kayas survive this misstep, and have produced a debut single – I Have Been Waiting – that’s got energy, and a delivery that’s halfway between Liam  Gallagher and Johnny Rotten. It’s out June 27th, and an album should follow.
