In 2010, after the results of the general election which bought a coalition government to Britain, Wilsoni Tha' Funk Masta wrote a song called ‘Stand Up and Be Recognised’. Well, it’s five years later and Britain faces another coalition, and millions of people don’t know who to vote for because every single party causes doubt.
For so many there isn’t a clear cut answer, just a swamp of conflicting pros and cons. We’re not bringing you this song to say vote for a particular party, we’re bringing it because it says be recognised, vote for whoever you think will do best: don’t be crushed by doubt and leave it. Labour, Tory, Lib Dem, SNP: go for it. Or, just enjoy Wilsoni as he works his other message “Reminding people that The Funk is Relevant in the 21st Century.”
