Nine Inch Nails step in to cover two Foo Fighters festival slots

Nine Inch Nails step in to cover two Foo Fighters festival slots
With the tragic death of Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins, the band are on an understandable hiatus. “It is with great sadness that Foo Fighters confirm the cancellation of all upcoming tour dates in light of the staggering loss of our brother Taylor Hawkins,” they said. However, while they can postpone solo shows, there is the question of what happens to their festival slots.

Well, news today that Nine Inch Nails will be stepping in to cover two of these. They will be the new headliners of Daytona’s Welcome to Rockville, which happens May 19 to 22.

They’ll also now be headlining the Friday of Boston Calling on May 27th, and that’s in… err… well Boston.
