Oh god, no, please: he's back. XFM in talks for new Breakfast show host

Just when you thought that the Breakfast slot couldn't become anymore depressing on British radio, we have news for you: Chris Moyles is in talks to take over at XFM.

He has struggled to maintain any of his audience since departing BBC Radio 1, and had flirted with a series of cripplingly unfunny and unpopular YouTube videos.

Here's what a British tabloid claimed a source has said: "It's a massive coup for XFM to be able to sign Chris. He was enjoying not having all of the usual pressures and early starts that come with breakfast radio so bosses were well aware that they had to offer him a great deal to entice him back." The source continued, "He plans to spend the next two months developing ideas for the new show and how he wants the format to be. Chris will also take a networking trip to LA."

Moyles left BBC radio one in 2012.

Heaven help us all.
