One of the Stranger Things kids has directed a music video
California rockers Spendtime Palace have a great idea for generating buzz: get one of the Stranger Things kids to direct their music video. Step forward Finn Wolfhard, who has been playing his way beyond fandom and has organised the visuals for Sonora.
He told the mission statement to Billboard: “We thought, ‘What if we do a western, but with two teenagers in 2017 California?'”
Then he made something uplifting: “We were inspired by watching those kinds of classic Spielberg kid movies for sure, and I think it’s a cool idea that someone who is 14 can still make someone happy in the sense of taking them away from an awful person.”
He’s done a good job, and more is promised.
