Police wins and Fabric nightclub has been closed: And London never took a drug again!

Police wins and Fabric nightclub has been closed: And London never took a drug again!

Last night will go down in history; a truly remarkable day. The day that marks London never, ever taking a drug again.

Yes, Islington Council agreed to revoke Fabric's license and permanently close the club, thus outting an end to drug culture once and for all. The hearing lastted over seven hours, hearing evidence from the Metropolitan Police, fabric's management, public health representatives, and local residents, but it was a paltry amount of time considering that now hundred years of drug issues are over.

In a closing statement announcing the decision, licensing sub-committee chair Flora Williamson said that searches at the club were inadequate and in breach of the license. "There is a culture of drugs at fabric which management cannot control," she decreed.

So go out and scream from the rooftops! Never fear a Wetherspoons toilet cubicle again: drugs are done! Well done police!
