Portishead and Goldfrapp unite for Film Score

What is it with the recent trend of bands providing modern soundtracks to pre-Second World War films? Now Adrian Utley of Portishead, and Will Gregory of Goldfrapp (the sane one) are joining together to score ‘The Passion of Joan of Arc’, originally made in 1928 by Carl Dreyer. As befits something involving Portishead, the score will be performed in their hometown of Bristol and will apparently include six guitar players! No word on if it’ll ever get a release.
