Portishead have just covered Abba's SOS and it's wonderful

You hvae to check out this Portishead cover of Abba's S.O.S.

So while we wait patiently for Bristol legends Portishead to release their 4th album (it's ok we've only been waiting 8 years - the last took 11) they have crawled out of the woodwork and released a breathtaking version of 70's pop legends Abba's classic S.O.S.

The new version is exactly what we would have wanted form them. Dark, brooding and menacing. It's taken from the film "High Rise" starring Tom Hiddleston and the newly released video has been dedicated to Jo Cox, the MP who was tragically murdered last week.

The video features lead singer beth Gibbons shot against a dark screen before reaching out to the camera and Jo Cox's memorable quote from her maiden speech in parliament apearing "We hvae far more in common than which divides us"
