Queens of the Stone Age have been talking about putting on one hell of a show: each of their five studio albums played in full, one a night over five nights. Sign us up now. Frontman Josh Homme explained more about it to Rolling Stone: "We've talked about how much we enjoyed when Cheap Trick performed their first three records and we've thought about doing five nights for each record… It's been discussed – after a few shots – but it's been discussed." If they wait much longer they may need a sixth night as Homme confirmed that work is underway for a new album.
Homme also discussed the actions of his money grabbing record company in releasing a ‘tenth anniversary’ edition of Queens’ ‘Rated R’ album, a record which is very good, but not ‘let’s celebrate ten years’ good. He said “I was like, 'What the fuck?' I have trouble looking too far forward or back." So not his idea then (not that we thought it would be.)
