Reading and Leeds set for rain

Reading and Leeds set for rain

Bad news for those that dreamt of a sun-baked weekend at the Reading and Leeds Festivals. It ain't gonna happen!

The encouraging news for those heading to Reading is that whilst set up day on Thursday and the first day of music on the Friday is predicted to be a wet affair, it is expected to clear up and even get rather hot come Sunday! Another positive in all this is that Friday is expected to have dried up by the time 30 Seconds to Mars and My Chemical Romance take to the main stage.

Unfortunately for those going to Leeds, rain is predicted to fall on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. The flip side of the weather report from Metacheck is that for those awaiting Muse's headlining set on the Friday, you'll be able to enjoy it in dry clothes. What is more, rain is only predicted for the afternoons, with the evenings being rain free. Fingers Crossed.

Head over to readingfestival.com and leedsfestival.com for more info on the festival. Highlights for this weekend are also being shown on BBC, so if you've got any brains and don't have a ticket, you'll be glued to screens over this weekend!
