Russian Burger King wants to ban IT for promoting McDonalds
If you’ve seen Stephen King’s IT, did Pennywise at any point at all remind you of Ronald McDonald, the clown who advertises McDonalds? No, no he didn’t, and yet in Russia strange things are happening.
 
Burger King Russia have filed a real objection to the Federal Anti-Monopoly Service saying that IT promotes McDonalds and the movie should be banned, which is easily the stupidest thing we’ve heard today and we follow US politics closely. 
 
IT has made $14 million so far in Russia, and the FAS will be looking into whether it’ll make any more.
