The BBC has now confirmed the leak, and eclectic alternative radio station BBC 6 Music (available globally online) is facing closure. But it’s not set in stone, and the campaigns to save it – or at least make a point - have started. We’ve now found the Facebook group, and it’s got over 110,000 members out of a possible 620,000 listeners. Numerous email addresses have been suggested as targets of write in campaigns, but the best course of action seems to be filling in the Beeb’s own ‘Strategic Review’ questionnaire, but it’s running slowly today. Or emailing people listed at the Facebook page. Or writing to David Cameron and tell him to remove Rupert Murdoch’s hands from his arse.
