Sleater Kinney: new track and album title
The Sleater-Kinney we’re all looking forward to has a title: The Center Won’t Hold. That’s the LP which St. Vincent / Annie Clark has produced, and it’s started a welcoming reappraisal of Sleater-Kinney’s awesome back catalogue. Start with The Hot Rock and work out.
But you don’t have to just look to the past, as the band have released a new single which is very much about the present. The Future Is Here is very much about modern alienation, and shows a band still on top form.
The official release date for The Future Is Here is August 16th but it’s already got one of the better lyric videos we’ve seen.
