Socks on Fire: How Kings of Leon explain a certain song to their kids

Socks on Fire: How Kings of Leon explain a certain song to their kids
So, you’re in the band Kings of Leon, and you haven’t actually killed yourself over this nightmare, so your kids are going to want to know about their parent’s job. Normally good, but when that job involves having Sex On Fire as your most famous song, how do you explain that to little ones?

With socks.

Here’s how the drummer explained it on Radio X: “It’s ‘Socks on Fire… Uncle Caleb’s socks caught on fire one night when I was drying them out on the heater.” So an 80s ITV movie then.

Indeed, “I think that song is the least of our worries. We have much bigger things to tackle than Sex On Fire,” at which point his brother added “They won’t listen to ‘Taper Jean Girl’. Ever.”
