Someone keeps hacking a local radio station and playing a song about wanking
If you think you’ve had a bad day, at least you’re not the boss of Mansfield 103.2, because someone keeps hacking into their feed and playing Ivor Biggun’s ‘The Winker’s Song’, and that title is about the only time they say Winker and not wanker.

Yes, the poor Nottinghamshire station has discovered someone is getting close to their outside broadcasts, and then using a portable transmitter to interrupt the programme and play an ode to masturbation. Obviously, for research purposes, we have added the song below, and it is in no way funny that family event Mansfield’s Party in the Market had this blaring out.

In fact here is the station boss: “Some people have told me that their children have started humming the song in the car. We have had calls from people who have found it hilarious, while some have raised their concerns, including our competitors, and a lot of people in the industry are aghast at how hard it is to stop these people… We are told by Ofcom who are investigating the matter, that you only need, and this is the frightening thing, a small transmitter and if you can get near where there is an outside broadcast or a signal and you can overpower that signal [then] you’re on the airwaves.”
