Stormzy launches his own line of books

Stormzy launches his own line of books
Stormzy already has his own record label and music festival, both called #Merky, and now they’re being joined by a ‘publishing imprint’, which is a record label for books. #Merky Books is being launched in conjunction with Penguin / Random House and the first book to be produced is… a history of Stormzy.
Alright, look beyond that and the man wants to provide an outlet for young writers. Here’s his own blurb: “We will be using this as a platform for young writers to become published authors… I know too many talented writers that don’t always have an outlet or a means to get their work seen and hopefully #Merky Books can be a reference point for them to say “I can be an author” and for that to be a realistic and achievable goal,”
There will be competitions for school kids and a paid intern, because Stormzy isn’t an arsehole.
