Sufjan Stevens releases 12 min epic America

Sufjan Stevens releases 12 min epic America
We love a good long song here at Supajam, and Sufjan Stevens has come riding over the hill with no less than twelve minute and thirty seconds of epic tunage. His new release is called America, and was first penned in 2015.
Either he’s not too precious to re-write or he’s damned prophetic, because the song he originally dismissed is now very of the moment. It’s July 2020 and good art is still coming along with the apocalypse shit. Good job even putting it in a genre.
“Don’t do to me what you did to America.” Quite.
Album The Ascension is available September 25, 2020.
