Tara Reid sues better than she acts

Tara Reid sues better than she acts
It’s a damning sign of Tara Reid’s career that appearing in all six Sharknado films was a renaissance. Sadly, now that franchise has finished Reid has fallen out with the people behind it, who include legendary b-movie rip off artists Asylum.
How much has she fallen out? She’s suing them for – in her opinion – using her likeness without permission or payment. Here’s the spiel: “wrongfully licensed the rights to use Tara Reid’s likeness (which they do not own) to manufacturers of slot machines, gambling products, and beer makers, who in turn have marketed their products with her likeness, and continue to wrongfully trade and profit therefrom.”
Which is fair enough, except that wouldn’t be so much of a story. So here’s the important little detail: “As such, the actions of the Defendants were malicious and oppressive and justify an award of punitive and exemplary damages in an amount sufficiently large to set a public example of deterrence, and in an amount no less than $100,000,000.00.”
That’s not a typo, Tara Reid is suing for $100 million dollars.
Tara Reid.
Who has never, ever been that famous. Someone’s been in too many movies.
