The Coral to work with Leckie

Back before there was Dave Sitek, Britain birthed John Leckie, producer behind some of 90s Brit-pop’s key albums, including the Stone Roses’ first and Radiohead’s The Bends. Now he’s going to be working with Liverpool’s The Coral on their forthcoming album. Amazingly, this will only be the group’s fifth, even though it feels (in the best possible way), like they’ve put out more. Long term fans can expect a slightly different sound as guitarist Bill Ryder-Jones has left and they’ve not gone for a ‘like for like’ replacement.
