The Klaxons at last come out of their closet.

Yup finally the wait is over.

The Klaxons have at last released some new material.

The band who's Debut album 'Myths Of The Near Future' scooped the Mercury Music Prize back in 2007, have recently been playing a few key dates in festivals across Europe including Benicassim and Glastonbury and treating fans to some new material in their live shows.

Not that they haven't made us wait for it. They famously delivered their new album a year and a half ago to their record label, only for it to be turned down for reasons we can only assume as being ...it was well crap (The official line was it was too psychedelic).

Like any good rock stars they most likely went away, petulantly sulked and then worked their collective nuts off and , in our view, have turned out something rather brilliant. Check out the rather fab new single below "Echoes"

The single is out on August 16th and their second album 'Surfing The Void' will be released on August 23rd.

So tell us...what do you think of "Echoes"? Genius or have they still lost the plot...
