The Libertines surprised fans last night with a tiny announced show in North London.
Pete Doherty, Carl Barat and co turned up on stage at the Boogaloo in Archway at 10:45pm, playing material old and new for 75 minutes, topped up with a cover of the Beatles' 'Twist and Shout'.
Tickets were just £10 and support was offered by Palma Violets and poet Jack Jones.

The following tweet after the show suggested that this could be the band's last bit of action for a while.
