The Simpsons’ Creator Signs to Netflix for new show

The Simpsons’ Creator Signs to Netflix for new show
Given that Matt Groening created both The Simpsons and Futurama, we don’t need anything besides the news he’s got a new show to get excited.
However, you might want to know details, so basically he’s signed up to Netflix for a fantasy comedy. It’ll be called Disenchantment, and luckily he’s provided a nice soundbite: “In Disenchantment, viewers will be whisked away to the crumbling medieval kingdom of Dreamland, where they will follow the misadventures of hard-drinking young princess Bean, her feisty elf companion Elfo, and her personal demon Luci….Along the way, the oddball trio will encounter ogres, sprites, harpies, imps, trolls, walruses and lots of human fools.”
And what does that actually mean? Here’s more Matt: “Ultimately, Disenchantment will be about life and death, love and sex, and how to keep laughing in a world full of suffering and idiots, despite what the elders and wizard and other jerks tell you.”
But we have to wait till next year.
