When we hear of a music video featuring Satanists, we jump straight for the cliché and assume it’s going to be something rocky, something heavy. But Toro y Moi’s ‘Low Shoulder’ is the sort of music you put on during a hot summer afternoon when you’re stoned, so having a young woman getting drugged, dragged off and used in a ritual by Satanists makes for a strange contract in this video. Kudos for not getting the girls’ tits out in a naked attempt to grab the male teen audience, and for having some of the cutest Satanists you’re ever likely to meet: they feature sparklers and cake.
