The new Placebo vid is worth a look even if you don’t like Placebo

The new Placebo vid is worth a look even if you don’t like Placebo
We still like Placebo and were pleased to hear their cover of Talk Talk’s Lifes What You Make It. It’s not going to convert any new fans, but it’s still a widescreen effort at odds with the claustrophobia of their earlier material and an interesting change.

That said, even if you don’t like the band take a look at their new video, because although it looks like a post apocalyptic wasteland, it’s actually been filmed in a real place: Agbogbloshie in Ghana, which was once a wetland and is now one of the biggest dumping spots in the world for electronic waste. Yes, that is a cow walking across a mountain of old computer parts.

An EP of the same name is already out.

Life's What You Make It by Placebo on VEVO.
