Top 10 things to do at LeeFest 2016: hot tubs, food fights and MUSIC.

You'll never grow old at LeeFest.

Festivals: they're pretty much filled with everything now. Most of the time, you're too busy munching down a linguine and getting married to realise that you're missing your favourite childhood band just a few hundred metres down the path.

Well, we don't want you missing anything at one of our favourite festivals: this year's LeeFest. Why? Because it's DIY, made with absolute love and a gosh darn hoot. This year most of all, they're really pulling out the stops too, balancing the Neverland with an array of fantastic musical talent and a whole load of fun.

So, without further adieu, here are the Top 10 things to do at LeeFest 2016.

GO ON A PSYCHEDELIC WALK THROUGH THE NEVERWOODS.

Whether or not you've been dabbling with the darker arts, a walk through the mystical Neverwoods will have you feeling like you have. A balance of colour, picturesque frames and a washing ambience will have you second guessing your every step.

SPEND AN AFTERNOON IN THE HOT TUBS.

Do we need to even justify this one? We don't think so. Let's just lean back and simply let the bubbles do the talking.

LOSE YOUR SHIT TO WE ARE SCIENTISTS.

This Californian three-piece have had a constant throughout their 17-year career: they bring the funk. So what the funk are you waiting for? Go for a groove and get moving during what should be an unforgettable set.

ARCADE. ARCADE. ARCADE.

When on earth do you get a chance to be half-soaked, with your closest friends and enjoying fun in an arcade? Exactly. So why not party like it's 2001 and head over there? It's the perfect change of pace and the only way to fire you up for the rest of the night.

GLITTER WRESTLING.

I mean, do we even have to justify this one? It's essentially two of the most fun things to do at a festival smashed into one hilariously brilliant experience. So take a loved one for an intimate experience or your pal that you've got beef with!

YOU'VE GOT TO DO EVERYTHING EVERYTHING.

One of the most exciting and infectious British bands from over the past decade. Their brand of experimental power pop is like nothing else, really. You can lose yourself during anthemic choruses in one moment then be sent into a groove the next. Unpredictable and festival worthy.

GO SEE THE DRAG QUEENS.

In a time where we've just surrended the reins of the country to a homophobe, there's no better time to show your support for the LGBT community. But this is no charity case: the drag queen shows at LeeFest will be hilarious, fun and sure to give you an experience you couldn't have imagined. It's the perfect recipe for a great night.

AN EARLY MORNING YOGA SESSION.

Festivals aren't all about losing your sugar and partying into the night, you know? They can be a wonderful experience for the body and mind. So why not try something new and head to a yoga session? It could leave you feeling fulfilled and centred for stepping out of the Neverland back into the real world.

GHOSTPOET. OH, DO IT.

Genuinely one of the most underrated, excited acts within the British music scene. We saw him at Shepherd's Bush late last year and he was unadulterated brilliance. Smooth rhythms, challenging material and a rhetoric that you can't deny.

ACT LIKE A BLOODY CHILD AGAIN.

It's no great surprise that, with a tagline like 'Never grow old', that this is the perfect festival to shrug off those usual nine to five hangups and enjoy yourself. And somewhere between food fights, circus, campfires, magic and more, we think that you'll find that little one inside of you screaming out!

Have a blast. We'll see you there!

LeeFest Presents: The Neverland takes place between the 28th-30th July 2016 at John Darlings Farm, TN8 5NP. Find out more information here.
