Travis release throwback to their first sound

Travis release throwback to their first sound
Travis’ first single didn’t give you any clue they’d be known for maudlin hits like Why Does It Always Rain On Me. Now with new single Valentine they’ve tried to channel that initial vibe.

“’Valentine’ was recorded as a predominately live performance in December 2019 at RAK Studios in London,” singer Fran Healy said. “It’s the closest Travis have gotten sonically to our debut album, ‘Good Feeling’.”

This might be because Healy has resumed full songwriting duties for the first time in over fifteen years.
