Two dark comedy classics returning to the BBC
Good news for lovers of comedy that horrifies people: The League of Gentlemen and Alan Partridge are coming back to BBC screens. We’ve reported on Partridge before, but there’s been some official announcements, and a confirmation it’s going to be Brexit themed. This could be exactly what half the country needs, and it’ll still horrify the other half. Good.
Meanwhile, a League of Gentlemen 20th anniversary special is happening with three new episodes. We do need to point out it’s twenty years since the radio version aired, but we believe it’s TV that’s happening now.
All we need to make this a happy trio is to learn that the writers of My Hero have been put into a box and fired into the sun.
