Watch: Damon Albarn sings 'Parklife' in Leytonstone pub

Damon Albarn shocked a few locals at the Red Lion pub in Leytonstone by getting up and performing a rendition of Blur’s ‘Parklife’.

A hard working, salt of the earth, local band were up onstage earning their pints and pork scratchings when some cheeky little upstart piped up and asked if he could join them. The bloody nerve of the…Oh it was Damon Albarn. Of course, the band got him up and they perform a ‘roll out the barrels’ rendition of ‘Park Life’. You wouldn’t get that at Starbucks.

Albarn’s debut solo album ‘Everyday Robots’ is due for release on 28th April, with new single 'The Heavy Seas of Love' featuring Brian Eno and the Leytonstone City Mission Choir out on 27th  April.
