We Are Scientists Return with Razorlight Refugee

If you buy into the great rock cliché used by NME as an excuse to justify rudeness and general thuggery, you probably don’t consider ‘We are Scientists’ a particularly good name. In fact, if you were looking at pictures of bands, you might think We are Scientists fits Hot Chip better. Either way, ‘Scientists are returning in April, with a new single called ‘Barbara’, from an album with an even shorter title: ‘Rules’. Say what you want, but it’s a damn site better than ‘Crap Attack’ (you see, there is a theme here). To make the numbers up again they’ve recruited Andy Burrows, who used to play in Razorlight, presumably before Johnny Borrell got too much (about three years after he did for the rest of us).
