When campaigning, don’t mention the Nazis.

There are two basic rules when it comes to campaigns involving the internet. One: the first person to mention the Nazis loses. Two: when arguing on the internet, someone will inevitably mention the Nazis. So the depressingly inevitable happened, and someone campaigning to save alternative music station 6 Music mentioned the bloody Nazis. Step forward Ed O’Brien of Radiohead, who posted a passionate and otherwise well argued letter on the Radiohead blog, but then called the head of the BBC ‘Herr Director General’. Maybe you should leave the politics to Thom.
