Recently ‘Wearing my Rolex’ rapper Wiley managed to shock his fans – and a fair few music executives – by putting no less than two hundred and three songs online for free. Many people thought he’d gone completely insane, but he’s explained himself to the Guardian:

"It shouldn't have come to this. I didn't want to do it - but I think it might just have been a good idea. I just need people in England to listen to me. I need people to embrace me, otherwise I'm just in my own little world going mad. And people who I want to hear me can't hear me…. I've got all this music sitting on hard drives, and in the end it started to make me feel sick."

So yes, he has gone a little bit bonkers. The plan is for him to write new material – “the greatest music I’ve ever made” – so can we pop a request in not to have any more songs about twats showing off expensive watches?
