Wireless told it can stay at Finsbury Park if acts don’t swear
Wireless Festival faced a battle to stay at Finsbury Park, London, because a ‘Friends of Finsbury’ group complained about, well, all of it. The good news is the council have renewed the licence for 2019.

The bad news is no one can swear. The licence quite literally says “The Licensee shall reasonably request that performers do not sing or play any vulgar, obscene or banned songs or carry out indecent acts or make any vulgar gestures, actions or remarks during the performance… He/she shall also ensure that the attire of the performers do not offend the general public, e.g., attire which expose the groin, private parts, buttock or female breast(s).”

That’s so not happening, is it.
